Biography
Andrée Bernard is an English actress born on 29 November 1966 in London. She began acting in her early teens and by 1983 had appeared in episodes of The Two Ronnies.
She is known for her role as Jane in the film The Crying Game (1992) and as Liz Burton in the soap opera Hollyoaks (2003–2007). Other television credits include Angie in The Brittas Empire (1991), Dolly Bailey in Doctor Who (2005), and appearances in Only Fools and Horses, Agatha Christie's Poirot and Lovejoy. Film roles include a part in Chaplin (1992).
Bernard has performed in West End productions including Hair and Kiss Me Kate, and has worked with Steven Berkoff on stage.
