Biography
Andrés Almeida is a Mexican actor and musician. He was born on 30 November 1977 in Mexico City. His acting debut came in 1997 with a small role in Jaime Humberto Hermosillo's De noche vienes, Esmeralda.
Almeida is known for his performance as Diego 'Saba' Madero in Alfonso Cuarón's Y tu mamá también (2001). He has appeared in numerous Mexican films and television series, including Rudo y Cursi (2008), Narcos: Mexico (2018) as Cochiloco, BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths (2022) as Martín, and Zorro (2024). He won the Ariel Award for Best Actor in a Minor Role for Tiempo compartido (2018). Almeida has also worked as a composer and musician, contributing scores to films and series.
