Biography
Andrés Arochi is a Mexican cinematographer. He began working as a director of photography in Mexico around 2012, following an informal start taking photographs in the music scene from the age of 17 and progressing through music videos and commercials. He has no formal film training.
Arochi’s first international feature credit was as cinematographer on the 2024 horror film Longlegs, directed by Osgood Perkins. He has also directed the 2024 feature Luto and worked on numerous shorts and music videos. He was recommended for Longlegs by fellow Mexican cinematographer Galo Olivares.
