Biography
Andrés de Segurola (born Andrés Perelló de Segurola) was a Spanish operatic bass and actor. Born in Valencia on 27 March 1874, he was a member of the Metropolitan Opera Company from 1901 to 1920 and later appeared in numerous films.
His film roles included Galuppi in the 1934 musical One Night of Love. After retiring from the stage he taught singing; one of his pupils was Deanna Durbin. He died in Barcelona on 23 January 1953.
