Biography
Andrew Burnap is an American actor born on 5 March 1991 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. He trained at the University of Rhode Island, where he earned a BFA, and at Yale University, where he earned an MFA.
Burnap began his professional stage career with the Public Theater in revivals of King Lear (2014) and Troilus and Cressida (2016). He gained prominence for his role as Toby Darling in Matthew López’s play The Inheritance, which premiered in the West End before transferring to Broadway; the performance earned him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play in 2020. In 2023 he played King Arthur in the Broadway revival of Camelot.
On screen, Burnap has appeared in the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed (2022) as Phil and the FX limited series Under the Banner of Heaven (2022) as Joseph Smith. He played Jonathan in the 2025 Disney live-action film Snow White and Norman in The Front Room (2024).
