Biography
Andrew Lazar is an American film producer. Born in New York City in 1966, he graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with degrees in film production and political science.
He began his career working for producer Richard Zanuck and later served as executive vice president of production at Dino De Laurentiis Communications. In 1995 he founded Mad Chance Productions, a company affiliated with Warner Bros. but active with other studios.
Lazar's credits include Bound (1996), 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), Space Cowboys (2000), Get Smart (2008), I Love You Phillip Morris (2010) and American Sniper (2014), the last of which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
