Biography
Andrew Marshall is a British screenwriter. Born on 27 August 1954 in Lowestoft, Suffolk, he attended Fen Park School and Lowestoft Grammar School before studying mathematics and psychology at Borough Road College.
He began his career contributing to BBC Radio 4's Week Ending and co-wrote The Burkiss Way with David Renwick. The pair later wrote television series including Hot Metal (1986–1988) and If You See God, Tell Him (1993). Marshall adapted stories for Agatha Christie's Poirot (1989) and created the sitcom 2point4 Children (1991–1999). He also wrote Health and Efficiency (1993–1995), Dad (1997–1999) and the fantasy series Strange (2002–2003).
