Biography
Andrew Orenstein is a Canadian television writer and producer. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 1992, he moved to Hollywood and joined the writing staff of the NBC series 3rd Rock from the Sun, where he contributed to 100 episodes and rose to producer.
He later worked on Fox’s Malcolm in the Middle as a writer and co-executive producer for five seasons. Orenstein wrote episodes of Everybody Hates Chris and served as co-executive producer on the series. His other credits include writing for Dr. Vegas and creating the Canadian sitcom Package Deal. He has run Amazon’s Just Add Magic and co-created the Apple TV+ series Ghostwriter.
