Biography

Andrew Wehde, also credited as Drew Wehde, is an American cinematographer. He has served as director of photography on the FX series The Bear (2022–), shooting the majority of episodes after the pilot and earning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour) in 2024, with further nominations in subsequent years.

Wehde’s other feature credits as director of photography include Eighth Grade (2018), The Map of Tiny Perfect Things (2021) and Queenpins (2021). He has also photographed comedy specials for Bo Burnham, Chris Rock, Jerrod Carmichael and Ramy Youssef. He has maintained a long collaboration with director Christopher Storer.
