Biography
Andrew Whyment, also credited as Andy Whyment, is an English actor. He trained at the Laine Johnson Theatre School in Salford and made his first credited television appearance in Cracker in 1993.
Whyment is known for playing Darren Sinclair-Jones in the BBC sitcom The Royle Family (1999–2000) and Kirk Sutherland in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2000–present). He received the British Soap Award for Best Comedy Performance in 2003.
