Biography
Andy Anderson, also credited as Neville Anderson and Andy James, is a New Zealand actor and musician. Born on 18 July 1947 in Naenae, Lower Hutt, he began his career in music as lead singer of the 1960s Australian garage rock band The Missing Links.
Anderson has worked extensively in Australian and New Zealand television and film. He played Jim Sullivan in the long-running series The Sullivans (1976–1983) and appeared as Hesiod in Xena: Warrior Princess (1995). Other credits include roles in House of Wax (2005), Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004), Salem's Lot (2004) and Garage Days (2002). He won a Silver Logie Award for his performance in The Sullivans.
