Biography
Andy Bell is a Welsh musician, singer and songwriter. Born in Cardiff in 1970, he was a founding member and guitarist of the shoegaze band Ride, and later fronted Hurricane No. 1.
He joined Oasis as bassist in 1999, replacing Paul McGuigan, and remained with the band until its 2009 split. He subsequently played guitar with Beady Eye. Bell rejoined Oasis for their 2025 reunion tour and appears as himself in the 2026 documentary Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger.
