Biography
Angela Margaret Cartwright (born 9 September 1952) is an English-born actress. She moved to the United States as a child and began acting at the age of three. Her early roles included appearances in Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956) and seven seasons as Linda Williams in the television series The Danny Thomas Show (1957–1964).
She is known for playing Brigitta von Trapp in the film The Sound of Music (1965) and Penny Robinson in the television series Lost in Space (1965–1968). Later credits include a role in Beyond the Poseidon Adventure (1979) and cameo appearances in the 1998 Lost in Space film and the 2018 Netflix series. She has also worked as a photographer. Her older sister is actress Veronica Cartwright.
