Biography
Angus Lennie was a Scottish actor known for film, television and theatre roles over a career spanning more than fifty years. Born in Glasgow, he began in variety as a dancer and comedian before moving into repertory theatre and screen work.
His film credits include Tunes of Glory (1960), The Great Escape (1963) as Flying Officer Archibald Ives 'The Mole', 633 Squadron (1964) and Oh! What a Lovely War (1969). On television he played Shughie McFee in the soap opera Crossroads (1974–81) and appeared in series including Doctor Who, The Saint, Keeping Up Appearances and Monarch of the Glen.
