Biography
Anja Siemens is a German film editor. She studied communications design at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee and Film & Video at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. She has worked as an editor since 2000, beginning with short films and documentaries.
Siemens edited the feature film Oh Boy (2012), for which she received nominations for the Deutscher Filmpreis and the Chlotrudis Award for best editing. She has edited episodes of the Netflix series Dark (2017–2020), The Billion Dollar Code (2021) and 1899 (2022), as well as the films 4 Kings (2015) and Köln 75 (2025). She was also nominated for a Deutscher Filmpreis for her work on Köln 75.
Earlier in her career she worked as an editorial assistant on Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001).
