Biography
Ann Akinjirin, also credited as Ann Akin, is a British actress and theatre maker of Nigerian descent. She trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, the BRIT School, the University of Bedfordshire and the Drama Centre London.
In 2013 she founded the theatre company Harts and served as its artistic director. Her television credits include recurring roles as DS Vanessa Ekwensi in Strike (2018–2020), Dee in Trigonometry (2020), Alissa in I May Destroy You (2020), Bobbi in Moon Knight (2022) and Aunt Fanny in The Famous Five (2023–). Film roles include Detective Constable Amy in King of Thieves (2018), Opal in Old Guy (2024) and Farah in Dreamers (2025).
