Biography
Ann Eleonora Jørgensen is a Danish actress. She was born on 16 October 1965 in Hjørring, Denmark, and trained at Statens Teaterskole, graduating in 1993.
She is known for her television roles as Nina Boye-Larsen in the series Taxa (1997–1999) and as Pernille Birk Larsen in The Killing (2007). Her film work includes Italian for Beginners (2000), for which she received a Robert Award for Best Supporting Actress, and In Your Hands (2004). She has also appeared in Midsomer Murders (2014, 2018) as Birgitte Poulsen, Elves (2021) as Karen, and Ride Upon the Storm (2017–2018) as Elisabeth.
Jørgensen has performed in numerous stage productions at theatres including Mungo Park, Aveny-T and Grønnegårds Teatret, and has been a member of the touring company Det Danske Teater.
