Biography
Anna Calvi is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist and composer. Born Anna Margaret Michelle Calvi on 24 September 1980 in Twickenham, London, she studied music at the University of Southampton and began her recording career with the 2011 self-titled debut album on Domino Records.
She has received three Mercury Prize nominations for her albums and composed the original scores for seasons five and six of the BBC series Peaky Blinders (2019–2022). Calvi also contributed music to the film The Souvenir (2019) and made her acting debut in its sequel, The Souvenir: Part II (2021), playing Anna Sette.
