Biography

Anna Kyriakou (Greek: Άννα Κυριακού) was a Greek actress. She was born in Athens on 17 January 1929 and died there on 13 October 2025. She trained at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece and, from 1954 to 1956, at the Charles Dullin School in Paris under Jean Vilar.

Kyriakou appeared in the 1964 film Zorba the Greek as Soul. Her film credits also include Safe Sex (1999), in which she played a psychologist. She maintained a long theatre career, collaborating with companies led by Vasilis Logothetidis, Dimitris Myrat and others, and taking leading roles in 34 productions at the National Theatre between 1960 and 1981. On television she was known for the role of Aunt Bebeka in the series Oi treis Harites (1990–1992). She was married to the architect Margaritis Apostolidis until his death in 2005.
