Biography
Anna Ouyang Moench is an American playwright and screenwriter. She holds an MFA in playwriting from the University of California, San Diego.
Her plays include Man of God and Birds of North America, which have received productions at venues such as the Geffen Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Theater Mu and the Odyssey Theatre. In television she has written for Severance (2022) on Apple TV+, serving as staff writer and later supervising producer, and contributed to Beef (2023). She is executive producer on the second season of Beef and showrunner for the second season of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Moench has received two Writers Guild of America Awards for her work on Severance, the 2020 Steinberg Playwright Award and other honours including Kilroys List mentions.
