Biography
Annalee Jefferies is an American stage and screen actress. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and was a resident company member at Arena Stage from 1978 to 1981 and at the Alley Theatre in Houston from 1986 to 2007. She has appeared in numerous stage productions, including the nine-hour trilogy of Horton Foote's Orphan’s Home Cycle in New York in 2010, which received a Drama Desk Award for Theatrical Event of the Season, and roles in works by Tennessee Williams.
Her film credits include Monsters (2010) as the Homeless Woman, Ain't Them Bodies Saints (2013) as Mary, Hellion (2014) as Fran Roberts, The Girl (2012) as Gloria, and No Mercy (1986) as Susan. On television she has appeared in Walker, Texas Ranger, Dallas (2013) and Queen Sugar.
