Biography
Annalisa Nasalli-Rocca was an Italian costume designer. Born in 1924 in San Giorgio Piacentino, Italy, she began working in film in 1949 and remained active for over three decades. She died in Rome on 1 November 2007.
She contributed to wardrobe and costumes on numerous international productions, including wardrobe master on Roman Holiday (1953), wardrobe supervisor on The Pink Panther (1963), and costume design on Mr. Klein (1976), Cesar and Rosalie (1972), Don Giovanni (1979) and Sheena (1984). She received a BAFTA nomination for her work on Julia (1977).
Nasalli-Rocca collaborated with directors including William Wyler, Blake Edwards, Joseph Losey and Fred Zinnemann. Her sisters Orietta and Bona Nasalli-Rocca also worked as costume designers.
