Biography

Anne-Marie Marchand (27 May 1927 – 1 August 2005) was a French costume designer. Born in Paris, she was the daughter of the author Vladimir Pozner. She worked in film and television from 1956 until the late 1980s.

Marchand received an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design for The Return of Martin Guerre (1982). Her credits include Fanny (1961), The Adventures of Arsène Lupin (1957), Neither Seen Nor Recognized (1958), The Lovers of Montparnasse (1958) as assistant costume designer, and The Legend of the Holy Drinker (1988). She also designed for numerous French television productions.
