Biography
Anne Sarraute (1930–2008) was a French film editor. She worked as an assistant editor on Agnès Varda's La Pointe Courte (1955) and Alain Resnais's Night and Fog (1956), and as editor on Resnais's All the World's Memory (1956) and Letter from Siberia (1958). She was one of the editors, alongside Henri Colpi and Jasmine Chasney, on Resnais's Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959).
She later served as editor on Jacques Cousteau's World Without Sun (1964). Sarraute was the daughter of writer Nathalie Sarraute. From 1966 until her death she worked as secretary of the editorial board at the literary review La Quinzaine littéraire.
