Biography
Anne Spielberg is an American screenwriter and film producer. Born on 25 December 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she is the sister of director Steven Spielberg. She began her career in the film industry working for her brother's production company, Amblin Entertainment, and as script supervisor on the 1968 short Amblin'.
Spielberg is best known for co-writing the screenplay for Big (1988) with Gary Ross and serving as co-producer on the film. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay for the project. She also wrote an episode of the television series Amazing Stories (1985) and contributed uncredited script revisions to Small Soldiers (1998).
