Biography
Anne Tait is a Canadian producer, casting director, writer and broadcaster. Based in Toronto, she has worked extensively in film, television and theatre.
She produced the Canada-China co-production Iron Road (2009) and has casting credits on films including Screamers (1995), Death Wish V: The Face of Death (1994), The Amityville Curse (1990) and Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987). She appeared as a storyteller in Sarah Polley's documentary Stories We Tell (2012).
Tait has written and directed for the stage, CBC Radio and television. Her play Yeats in Love was produced in Toronto, Dublin and on tour. She has received an Emmy nomination and the Female Eye Film Festival's Maverick Award for career achievement.
