Biography
Annell Brodeur is a costume designer whose credits include A Ghost Story (2017), The Old Man & the Gun (2018), Upstream Color (2013), The Quarry (2020), Never Goin' Back (2018) and The Long Dumb Road (2018). She has also worked in the costume department on Pete's Dragon (2016) and designed costumes for television series including Queen Sugar (2018) and Panic (2021).
A native of Amarillo, Texas, and a 2005 graduate of Tascosa High School, Brodeur studied theatrical costuming at the University of North Texas. She began working in film in the Dallas indie scene, with early credits on Hellion (2014) and 6 Years (2015), where she also served as production designer.
Brodeur has collaborated repeatedly with director David Lowery, having met him through her husband, producer Toby Halbrooks. She has also appeared in small acting roles in several films.
