Biography
Annie Julia Wyman is an American screenwriter and producer. She co-created the Netflix series The Chair (2021) with Amanda Peet and wrote episodes of the show. She has also written for Tokyo Vice (2022–2024), where she served as story editor, Welcome to Chippendales (2022), and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2026), on which she is additionally a co-executive producer.
Wyman holds a BA in creative writing from Stanford University and an MA and PhD in English from Harvard University (PhD 2017). She previously taught literature and writing at several colleges and worked as a critic and journalist before transitioning to screenwriting. She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for her work on The Chair.
