Biography
Anthony Tambakis is an American screenwriter, producer and novelist. He wrote the screenplay for the 2011 film Warrior, on which he is also credited as co-producer. His other screenwriting credits include Jane Got a Gun (2015), Gringo (2018) and Sun Dogs (2017), and he contributed the original story for Brothers (2015).
A former professor of creative writing, Tambakis is the recipient of a Paul Bowles Fellowship for fiction. His novel Swimming with Bridgeport Girls was published by Simon & Schuster in 2017. He has also worked on adaptations, including a stage version of The Hustler. He was born on 22 May 1967 in Fairfield, Connecticut.
