Biography
Antoinette Concello (1910–1984) was a Canadian-American trapeze artist and performer. She appeared as herself in Cecil B. DeMille's 1952 film The Greatest Show on Earth, performing with the Flying Concellos troupe.
In 1950, DeMille hired Concello to train actors including Betty Hutton for their trapeze roles in the film; she also coached Cornel Wilde and Dorothy Lamour. A member of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, she became the first woman to perform a triple somersault on the flying trapeze and was later the circus's aerial director until 1983. She was inducted into the Circus Hall of Fame in 1963.
