Biography
Antonella Attili is an Italian actress working in film, theatre and television. Born in Rome on 3 April 1963, she began in avant-garde theatre before making her screen debut in 1988 as the young Maria Di Vita in Giuseppe Tornatore's Cinema Paradiso.
She collaborated again with Tornatore on Everybody's Fine (1990) and The Star Maker (1995). Other film roles include appearances in The Long Silence (1993), Declarations of Love (1994) and Prima del tramonto (1999), for which she received a Nastro d'Argento nomination for best supporting actress. On television she has played recurring parts in Romanzo Criminale: The Series (2008) and a long run as Agnese in Il Paradiso delle Signore (2018–2023).
Attili is an ambassador for the children's rights charity Terres des Hommes.
