Biography
Antônio Pinto is a Brazilian film score composer. Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1967, he is the son of cartoonist Ziraldo and the brother of filmmaker Daniela Thomas.
He first gained international recognition for his work on Central Station (1998) and City of God (2002). Pinto contributed additional music to Collateral (2004), including the cues 'Car Crash' and 'Requiem'.
His other notable scores include Lord of War (2005), Perfect Stranger (2007), Senna (2010), Amy (2015) and McFarland, USA (2015). He has collaborated repeatedly with director Asif Kapadia and received a World Soundtrack Award.
