Biography
Antony Genn is a British composer and musician. Born in 1971 in Sheffield, he began his career playing bass for Pulp in 1988 before touring with Elastica on keyboards and joining Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros as guitarist and co-writer on their debut album Rock Art and the X-Ray Style (1999). In 2004 he co-founded the band The Hours with Martin Slattery.
Genn has composed original scores for film and television, including episodes of Black Mirror (2013) and Peaky Blinders (from 2017), as well as The Look of Love (2013), Treasure Island (2012), Lost in London (2017) and The Legend of Barney Thomson (2015). He has also contributed to soundtracks for projects such as The Lego Batman Movie (2017).
