Biography
Antony Partos is an Australian film and television composer. He studied at the Conservatorium High School in Sydney and graduated from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television, majoring in sound, in 1991. In 2010 he co-founded Sonar Music in Sydney with Andrew Lancaster.
Partos is known for his scores for the feature films Animal Kingdom (2010), The Rover (2014), 99 Homes (2015), Tanna (2015), I Am Mother (2019), Poker Face (2022) and Gold (2022), as well as the television series The Artful Dodger (2023). He has received multiple AFI/AACTA Awards for Best Original Music Score, including for Animal Kingdom (with Sam Petty), The Home Song Stories (2007) and Unfinished Sky (2008).
