Biography
Anya Leta is a screenwriter, producer and director. She grew up in Fairfield, Iowa, and has long-standing connections to India. She holds a B.A. from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television and an M.F.A. from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Singapore.
Leta wrote and directed the short film Points of Origin (2014), which she made in Mumbai. Her television writing credits include staff writer and writer roles on Homeland (2018), story editor and writer on The Mosquito Coast (2021–2022), teleplay and story work on The Morning Show (2023), and writer credits on Fellow Travelers (2023). She has also worked as a producer on several of these series.
