Biography
April Pearson is an English actress, writer and producer. Born in Bristol in 1989, she began performing in local theatre productions as a child and made her screen debut at the age of nine in the medical drama series Casualty (1998). She attended Colston's Girls' School, where she was head girl, and was a member of the Bristol Old Vic Young Company.
Pearson gained wider recognition for her portrayal of Michelle Richardson in the first two series of the E4 teen drama Skins (2007–2008). She received a nomination for the Golden Nymph Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. Her subsequent film work includes Tormented (2009) as Natasha 'Tasha' Cummings. She has also appeared in series such as Kiss Me First (2018) and The Kindred (2021). Pearson is married to film director Jamie Patterson.
