Biography
Arad Sawat is an Israeli production designer. He began working in television in 1996 as a props man and stylist, later becoming a set designer for drama series and commercials in the late 1990s. He moved into feature film production design in 2011.
His film credits include Footnote (2011), Big Bad Wolves (2013), The Farewell Party (2014), A Tale of Love and Darkness (2015), Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer (2016), Foxtrot (2017), Beirut (2018) and Golda (2023). He has also worked on television series such as Our Boys (2019) and Absentia.
Sawat is a three-time winner of the Ophir Award for Best Artistic Design, for Footnote, Big Bad Wolves and Foxtrot.
