Biography
Ardan Fisher (1946–2026) was a British editor and occasional director who worked extensively in television and film.
He began his career at the BBC in the music and arts department, editing documentaries including The Orson Welles Story (1982). Fisher moved into drama and won a BAFTA award for his work on the thriller series Edge of Darkness (1985).
After becoming freelance in the mid-1990s he edited series such as Bugs (1995–1996) and Foyle's War (2006–2008), as well as the television film She's Been Away (1989). He was married to Renée van der Vloodt.
