Biography
Ariel Karlin is a television writer. She contributed to The Baby-Sitters Club (2020) and joined the writers’ room of Hacks (2021–) as a writer’s assistant in its first season, later advancing to staff writer, story editor and executive story editor.
Karlin graduated from Barnard College in 2010 with a B.A. in English and film studies. She began working in sketch comedy at New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and served as a writer’s assistant on the 2016 miniseries Time Traveling Bong. She has received a Primetime Emmy nomination.
