Biography
Ariel Ladensohn is a writer and producer working primarily in animated television. Born in Los Angeles in 1987, she studied playwriting at Yale University and began her career as a playwright before moving into television writing.
She has written episodes of Futurama (2023–), Solar Opposites (2020–2021), Hazbin Hotel (2024) and earlier children's series including My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. On the Hulu revival of Futurama she has also served as producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer. She previously worked under the name Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim.
Ladensohn is the daughter of actress Cybill Shepherd. She received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for the Futurama episode "I Know What You Did Next Xmas".
