Biography
Ariel S. Leve is an American author and journalist. Born in New York City in 1968, she has written for publications including The Guardian, The New York Times, Vanity Fair and Esquire. She was a columnist for The Guardian and a senior writer for The Sunday Times Magazine from 2003 to 2010, where she wrote the humour column 'Cassandra'.
Leve’s memoir An Abbreviated Life was published in 2016. She has also written for television, serving as story editor on ten episodes of the FX series Better Things (2016) and co-writing the episode 'The World Is Mean Right Now' (2022). Earlier credits include writing for Idiot Savants (1997) and a segment of KaBlam! (1998).
