Biography
Ariel Schulman is an American filmmaker and occasional actor. He graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2004 and has frequently collaborated with director Henry Joost.
Schulman co-directed the documentary Catfish (2010) with Joost. The pair went on to direct Paranormal Activity 3 (2011), Paranormal Activity 4 (2012), Nerve (2016), Viral (2016), Project Power (2020) and Secret Headquarters (2022). Schulman also appears as Tom Weston in Queer (2024). He is the brother of Nev Schulman.
