Biography

Arlene Sarner is a Canadian screenwriter. She was born on 15 November 1947 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Sarner wrote the screenplay for Peggy Sue Got Married (1986) with her husband Jerry Leichtling; the film was directed by Francis Ford Coppola. She also wrote the screenplay for Blue Sky (1994) and the television film Switched at Birth (1999). She graduated from Forest Hill Collegiate Institute in Toronto in 1966.
