Biography
Armand Kaliz was a French-born American stage and film actor active during the silent era and the early years of sound films. He appeared in approximately 82 films between 1917 and 1941, often in supporting or uncredited roles after 1933.
Kaliz began his career in vaudeville and made his Broadway debut in The Hoyden (1907). He later appeared in The Kiss Burglar (1918) and Spice of 1922 (1922). He arrived in the United States in 1907 and became known for roles including the Marquis de Torre Bianca in The Temptress (1926) and De Voss in Little Caesar (1931).
He died on 1 February 1941 in Beverly Hills, California.
