Biography
Art Jones is a film and television editor. He began his career with an editorial apprenticeship before moving into music videos, where he won the UK Music Video Awards for Best Editor in 2002 and 2003, and the MTV Music Video Award for Best Editing in 2011 for Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep'.
He has edited feature films including Hard Candy (2005), 30 Days of Night (2007) and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010), all directed by David Slade. Jones joined the edit house Work Editorial in 2009. His television credits include an episode of Hannibal (2013) and episodes of the Netflix series American Primeval (2025).
He has also cut award-winning and BAFTA-nominated short films, and worked with directors including Michael Winterbottom, Stephen Frears, John Hillcoat and Johan Renck. Jones is married to editor Amanda James and lives in London.
