Biography
Arthur Cohn (4 February 1927 – 12 December 2025) was a Swiss film producer. Born in Basel, he began his career as a journalist and reporter for Swiss Radio before moving into film production in the early 1960s.
He produced The Garden of the Finzi-Continis (1970), Central Station (1998), One Day in September (1999) and The Chorus (2004). Six of his films won Academy Awards, three for Best Foreign Language Film and three for Best Documentary Feature. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1992.
