Biography
Arthur Margetson (1887–1951) was a British stage and film actor. He began his stage career in 1917 and appeared regularly on Broadway after 1929, with later Hollywood film work from 1940. He was also a composer of music and lyrics and an impersonator.
His film roles include Chetwynd in Random Harvest (1942) and Dr. Bob Sexton in Sherlock Holmes Faces Death (1943). Stage credits encompass numerous Broadway productions in musicals and comedies through the 1940s.
