Biography

Arthur O'Sullivan (1912–1981), also credited as Archie O'Sullivan, was an Irish actor who worked in theatre, film, television and radio.

He was a member of the Radio Éireann Players and appeared in the world premières of plays by John B. Keane and Brian Friel. On screen he took supporting roles in films including Girl with Green Eyes (1964), Ryan's Daughter (1970) as Mr McCardle, The Iguana with the Tongue of Fire (1971) as Inspector Lawrence and Barry Lyndon (1975) as Captain Feeny, the highwayman. He died in Dublin on 17 February 1981.
