Biography
Arthur Simonini is a French composer and multi-instrumentalist. He began studying the violin at the age of five and trained in classical and jazz music before studying orchestration with Guillaume Connesson and musical writing with Jean-François Zygel and Pierre Pincemaille at the Paris National Conservatoire, where he received prizes in harmony and counterpoint as well as an Indian music certificate. He also holds a degree in physics and has performed extensively as a soloist across genres and continents.
Simonini composes and produces original scores for film and television. He is credited, often in collaboration with Para One, on Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019), Daughter of Rage (2022), The Butcher's Daughter (2022) and A Smile Doesn't Lie (2024). His television work includes the series Bardot (2023), Iris (2024) and Fortune de France (2024).
