Biography
Arthur Tarnowski is a Canadian film and television editor. Born on 20 January 1971 in Montreal, Quebec, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Concordia University. He is a member of the American Cinema Editors and the Canadian Cinema Editors.
Tarnowski has edited over 40 feature films and numerous television series. His credits include Brick Mansions (2014), Deadfall (2012), The Hummingbird Project (2019), The Fall of the American Empire (2018), Best Sellers (2021), Irena's Vow (2023) and Heated Rivalry (2025). He has frequently collaborated with directors including Jacob Tierney, Denys Arcand and Kim Nguyen. Tarnowski has received multiple Canadian Screen Award nominations for Best Editing, as well as Iris and Jutra nominations, and won the Borsos Competition award for Best Editing at the 2022 Whistler Film Festival for The 12 Tasks of Imelda.
